昭和17年2月1日、シンガポール総攻撃決行。結果は修正AVが1120対565で失敗でした。日本側の修正AVが1131以上か、連合軍側の修正AVが559以下だったら日本の勝利だったわけで、ランダムの女神が連合軍側に微笑んだとしかいえません。ショック・アタックをして失敗したのでしばらく休養をとらせる必要があります。陥落は2月中旬以降になりそうです。こんなことならパレンバンに送った3個師団のうちのひとつはシンガポールにまわすべきでした。手を広げすぎてはいけないという教訓でした。

昭和17年1月の戦果をまとめてみました。機体の損失数は、先月の1.8倍。Air lossやFlak lossが増えたことは気になりますが、Ops lossもかなり増えているので、日数が増えてsortie数が増えたことと関連しているのかもしれません。まだ連合軍の損失数を下回っていますが、かなり接近してきています。
日本の昭和17年1月のパイロットの被害は、MIA 45名、WIA 24名、KIA 131名と、先月の2倍近くになっています。連合軍に優秀な機体が届いて優秀なパイロットが養成されるにつれ、もっと多くなって行くんでしょうね。
日本の昭和17年1月の喪失艦船は64隻、合計 287979、VP 657と、先月よりかなり多くなってしまいました。かえすがえすも1月28日のパレンバンの悲劇が惜しまれます。それに対してTrackerに報告されている連合軍の喪失艦船は91隻、合計 263226トン、VP 856。でもこれには、ほんとは沈んでいない艦船がかなり含まれているはずなので、今月の艦船の被害は日本側と連合軍側とだいたい同じくらいなのかなと思います。
