特殊潜行艇の正しい使い方?というエントリーで、前回のPBEMでの私の使い方を紹介しました。今回もまずはI-18とHa-3のコンビのMidget Sub Carrier TFをミッドウエイに送りました。ミッドウエイの隣のヘクスに到着したので、Ha-3をMidget Submarine TFに仕立てて、ミッドウエイのヘクスと母艦であるI-18のいるヘクスとをパトロールゾーンに設定しました。そして昭和17年1月3日のリプレイをみてみると、Ha-3は連合軍のDD Cummingsに発見されましたが、着底してなんとかやり過ごしました。これで終わりかと思ったら、次に潜水艦の攻撃画面で、目標はAS Pelias。残念なことに魚雷は2本とも外れてしまいました。翌日、母艦のいるヘクスに無事Ha-3は戻っていたので、燃料と魚雷の補充にクエゼリンに帰投させました。前回のPBEMでもそうですが、まだこういったパトロールで特殊潜行艇を失ったことはありません。史実では生還者はいないんですよね。
連合軍が潜水艦を使う際、燃料や魚雷の補給のためにハワイやアメリカ西海岸の港まで戻るのは嫌だろうから、きっとミッドウエイやアリューシャン列島にASをdisbandさせているだろうというヨミが今回は的中でした。また、攻撃する事が出来たので、特殊潜行艇の使い方が間違っていなかったことも確認できました。命中はしませんでしたが、収穫ありと考えたいと思います。
ジョホールバルを元旦に占領して、次はシンガポールという段階です。シンガポールのfortificationを強化されないように爆撃を行うわけですが、まだ戦闘機がかなり残っています。その処理のためにKi-43-Ic Oscarでsweepをしかけたところ、今日は9機のBuffalo I撃墜で隼には損失機がなく、珍しく完璧な仕事をしてくれました。先日の昭和17年1月1日までの状況というエントリーで損失機数の示しましたが、戦闘機のA2Aによる損失機数は各機種合計して連合軍が123機、日本が30機でだいたい今のところ4対1のスコアです。開戦時にマップ上にある部隊どうしの戦闘だとこんなものでしょうか。今後は悪化してゆく一方なのでしょうが。
