昭和18年1月18日のリプレイは、夜間空襲の回数が多くて、かなり長い時間がかかりました。日本側は漢口から重慶に九七重爆(Ki-21-IIa Sally) 12機と百式重爆(Ki-49-IIa Helen) 43機の合計55機が7波に分かれて向かいました。CAPは4機のP-38G Lightningで、百式重爆がCAPとFlakに各一機ずつ撃墜されまた。まがりなりにも中国の首都への爆撃ですから、この程度の被害はやむを得ないところ。しかし納得いかないのは攻撃の成果で、55機が飛行場を爆撃したにもかかわらず、命中弾はAirbase hits 1だけでした。たしかにCAPや対空砲に邪魔されたし、天候はSevere stormsだったし、こんなもんでしょうか。
南東方面ではラバウルに7波37機のB-24D Liberatorが来襲。二式水戦(A6M2-N Rufe) 15機、零戦52型(A6M5 Zero) 3機、二式複戦(Ki-45 KAIa Nick) 2機が迎撃して、飛行場にはRunway hits 3の命中があっただけでした。昨夜のラバウルはheavy rainでしたから、CAPがいたことともあわせて、重慶夜間空襲と同じく少数の命中弾しかなかったのでしょう。ただしこの3発の命中弾で二式大艇と九七大艇輸送機型の各一機が破壊されてしまいました。またCAPの二式水戦が10機と、二式複戦1機が失われています。さいわい自軍の飛行場の上空なので、パイロットの被害はWIA 2名のみで済みましたが、昭和18年にもなって二式水戦にCAPをさせるなんて無理だという声も聞こえてきそうです。たしかにその通りではあるのですが、史実と同じく日本側は戦闘機隊に余裕がないのが実情です。二式水戦の後継機である強風(N1K1)は昭和18年5月にならないと生産できません。このゲームではR&Dの成果で昭和18年1月(今月)から紫電(N1K1J)を生産開始できるようになっているのですが、その原型の強風の方が遅いのです。
ビルマでは昼間にも北部のKathaに空襲がありました。Hurricane IIc Trop 32機とSpitfire Vc Trop 4機の護衛で4波105機(Blenheim IV 19、Blenheim VD 32、Hudson IIIa 12、Wellington Ic 14、Vengeance I 28)が地上部隊を目標に爆撃しました。ここはドットベースで、fortificationも0のままなのですが、地形がジャングルのヘクスなためか、死傷者10名で一分隊がdisabeldになっただけでした。被害が少なかったのはたしかですが、安心はできません。この位置の地上部隊の爆撃を始めたということは、連合軍もそろそろビルマでの地上戦を考え始めているということなのでしょう。印面国境のビルマ側にあるドットベースのKalemyoにはだいぶ前からオーストラリア軍色の地上部隊がいて、今日の報告では兵員数7万7000名。またインパールの東のヘクスにも4万5千名ほどがいて、さらに増強されつつあります。マグエには油田があり、またマグエとその近隣のメイクテーラ、Taung Gyiには規模4以上の飛行場がありますから、ビルマ中部の守りはそれなりだろうと連合軍も考え、まずは中国へのサプライ空輸ルートの安全を確固たるものにするためのビルマ北部攻略作戦、その準備としてミートキーナへ通じる鉄道線を遮断する予定かなと思います。

と書かれていました。独航船だったのか？でもマップをみてみると伊2潜の攻撃したヘクスには、駆逐艦4隻に護衛されたAMCがいました。AK Cetusはこのコンボイに所属していたものか、たまたま同じヘクスで行き会ったものか？もしコンボイの一員だったのなら、xAKではなくAKだし、商船を独航させることのまれでない連合軍側がきちんとした護衛艦艇を揃えていますから、なんらかのLCUを輸送していたのかも知れないのに。できればこのAMCの方を狙ってほしかったところ。
