昭和18年3月4日、昨晩のラングーン空襲は大がかりでした。3波合計で四発爆撃機76機が来襲し、 Airbase hits 16、 Airbase supply hits 4、Runway hits 60の被害です。今朝もまだAirfield runaway damege 6、Airfield service damage 6が残っています。
昼はミートキーナにsweep 5波と爆撃3波の空襲がありました。ラングーンに比較してミートキーナは連合軍の飛行場から近いので爆弾搭載量も多く、Airbase hits 8、Airbase supply hits 1、Runway hits 93と大きな被害がありました。ミートキーナ自体はもう防衛をあきらめているので、飛行場の被害は冷静に受け止めています。しかし、来襲した120機の双発爆撃機のうち86機はground attackを実施して、死傷者数107、5個のSquadsがdisabled、6個のNon Combatがdisabledになりました。こうやって陸軍部隊が削られるのは地味にきついです。
数日前からアキャブの英軍部隊が東に向かって移動を始めています。今日の索敵では、Kalemyoの東にいた部隊が南東に移動を始めました。アキャブの部隊の方はいいとして、このKalemyo東の部隊が目標の南東のヘクスに移動すると、ラングーン・ミートキーナ鉄道を遮断されてしまいます。Katha、ラシオ、ラングーンにいる部隊を連合軍の移動先のヘクスに動かすことにしました。先着しないとヘクスの支配権を失ってしまいます。英軍部隊はジャングルの道路のないヘクスの移動なのと、これから空爆して移動速度を落とすようにして対処しますが、間に合うかどうか自信ないところ。
