4, 119 ~ 126, 119を結ぶ線以南の沿岸ヘクスと、127, 157 ~ 162, 157を結ぶ線以南に連合軍のコーストウォッチャーがいる。これに加えて、インド全域、セイロン、オーストラリア、ニュージーランド、ハワイ、アラスカ、カナダとアメリカ合衆国(ただしアリューシャン列島は除く)にもコーストウォッチャーがいる。ポートモレスビーが支配下にあって安全なのと、即応のためにと思って、これまで機動部隊をラバウルに停泊させていました。でも、ラバウルにはコーストウォッチャーがいることが判明。このゲームは、1943年頃までは空母の居場所の秘匿が駆け引きの中心点の一つでもあるので、ラバウルでは動静が連合軍に伝わってしまってまずい。早速トラックに後退。でも、この出港自体もしっかり報告されちゃうんだろうと思うと、少し鬱です。WitP AEは新たな発見に満ちています。やはり、連合軍側でもプレーしないとだめですね。
コーストウォッチャーは、砂漠(desertとsand desert)、ツンドラ、氷原ヘクスや、小さな島(ほとんど全てのAtollはこれに含まれる)には存在しない。
