遊びをせんとや: Rufeはやればできる子

HRで夜間空襲は月光が50%以上の時だけに限定しています。今月も4日前から連合軍の夜間空襲がちらほら始まり、昭和17年8月21日、ラバウルにも4波合計14機のB-17E Fortressがやってきました。昼間の空襲の備えにもCAPを上げなければいけないので、夜は二式水戦(A6M2-N Rufe)に任せてみました。昨夜は10機の二式水戦が迎撃し、みごとB-17E Fortressを1-2機(他の戦線でもB-17E Fortressが夜間空襲に来ていて合計2機撃墜)撃墜しました。二式水戦が四発機を撃墜する場面はおそらく1ゲームで1回見ることができるかどうかの珍しさだと思うので、記録のために載せておきます。この1機を撃墜するために二式水戦の方は6機が撃墜され、2機がOps Lossと大きな被害を出しています。さいわい自軍根拠地上空での戦闘なのでパイロットのWIA・KIAはなく、ラバウルの港にも500ポンド爆弾が一発命中しただけでした。

今日のSIGINTでインド洋に連合軍TFの位置が報告されていました。ラッカディブ諸島(モルディブよりは北ですよね)の西側でコロンボとアデン(またはケープタウン)を結ぶ航路上なのでしょうか。これまでアデンとコロンボを結ぶコンボイはもっとインド西岸近くを航行していると思い、潜水艦にパトロールさせていました。日本側の潜水艦を避けるためにここをこっちを航海させることにしたのでしょうが、潜水艦のパトロール域を変更してみようと思います。
