水上戦闘TFが救助した兵員の降ろし方



一昨日、Mersingに向かう途中でVildebeest IIIの爆撃を受け、500ポンド爆弾が3発命中して大きな火災の発生していたxAP Suwa Maruが、昭和16年12月21日に沈没しました。昨日から揚陸を始めていましたが、まだ船上に残されていた兵員はMersingのヘクスでパトロールしていた水上戦闘TFの巡洋艦と駆逐艦に救助されました。水上戦闘TFが兵員を救助したのは初めての経験ですが、 Total Load: 1318 of 0と表示されていて、1318人も救助したようです。でも水上戦闘TFには本来のLoad Spaceは0ということからか、救助した人たちを上陸させる選択枝が出ないんですね。TFの種類をFast Transportに変更すると降ろせるようになりました。
昨日、哨戒機がボルネオ島南岸のBandjermasinに連合軍TFを発見し、その中にCVLがいると報告してきました。ジャワ海に連合軍のCVLがいるなんて偵察機の見間違いだろうと思っていましたが、今日のコンバットアニメーションにはご覧の通りCVL Hermesのお姿がありました。バリクパパン攻略を妨害するために来ていたのでしょうか。
ちょうど昨日、サイゴンにいた元山空の九六陸攻39機をボルネオ島南西端のSingkawangに移動させたばかりです。Singkawangに移動させた目的は、Fortress Palembangだけは御免被りたいので、パレンバンやバタビアやスンダ海峡のあたりを連合軍艦船が航行するのを牽制することでした。それが、CVL Hermesの攻撃に向かってくれたとはラッキー。アニメーションでは出撃した10機のうち魚雷を命中させたのはこの1機だけ。TrackerをみるとCVL Hermesは沈没となっているのですが、搭載しているはずのSwordfishの損失機数が今日は0なので、魚雷一本で沈んだりするのかどうかとあわせて疑問が残ります。もしかして、Swordfishはボルネオ島かジャワ島の飛行場に避難していて、コンバットリポートにはFuel storage explosion on CVL Hermesと表示されていますから、大火災により沈没したのが本当なんだとしたらいいのですが。それにしても、連合軍空母にダメージを与えたのはこれが初めてなので、うれしい戦果です。

こちらで質問すべきではないのかもしれませんが、よろしければ教えて下さい。
連合軍側の戦闘艦艇ではFast Transportで兵員や物資は輸送できないのでしょうか?
マレー半島で英軍が孤立したので撤収しようと軽巡、駆逐からなるFT任務のTFを編成したのですが、サプライも搭載できないし、pickupも選択できません。ネズミ輸送は日本海軍のみ再現していると言うことでしょうか。

余談ですが、先のエントリーで機関室に穴が空いたというリポートがあった件ですが、自然損耗で外板に穴が空いたのかとも思ったのですがいかがでしょう。
船齢の経った船だと、機関室船底に誤って落としたボルトや工具が船底外板と接触することにより、電蝕でピンホールが空いたり、経年劣化で外板が薄くなっているところに、振動や衝撃でクラックが入って、機関室に浸水することがあります。
艦艇同士の衝突までイベントにあるぐらいですから、このぐらいシミュレートしていてもおもしろいなと思いました。

Fast Transportについて
(1)Fast Transportで兵員を輸送したり救い出したりするには、Troop capacityが0でない艦船をそのTFに組み込むことが必要です。史実でネズミ輸送に従事したことを反映してでしょうが、日本の巡洋艦・駆逐艦はTroop capacityが50から500人程度となっています。しかし、連合軍の巡洋艦・駆逐艦のほとんどはTroop capacity、Cargo capacityともに0だったと思います。連合軍の場合には、アメリカのDD Clemson級とDD Wickers級を早めにAPDに改装しないとこういった技が使いにくくなっています。
(2)あと、所属するHQがrestrictedのユニットは艦船で海上輸送できません。マレー半島のユニットはrestrictedなHQ所属のものもけっこうあったかも。

機関室の外板損傷ですが、たしかに電触などがシミュレートされているのかもしれませんね。ただ、それで腑に落ちないのは、図に示した通り、xAK Somedono Maruのダメージが0である点です。本当に外板が損傷したならFloatation damageがいくつかないと変な気がします。でも、もしかすると小さな穴だったので、一晩のうちに開いた穴をふさぎ終えることができたと考えるべきなのでしょうか。
