このブログに載せるスクリーンショットは、Print Screenキーで撮って、Drop Box経由でMacBook Proに移し、Macで加工してアップしています。昨日、フォーラムのScreenshotsというスレを読んでいて、ALT-"Print Screen"でアクティブなウインドウだけのスクリーンショットが撮れることを初めて知りました。私のWindowsに対する無知蒙昧さがまた一つ明らかになりました。世の中にはまだまだ学ぶべき点がたくさんありそう。
昭和17年6月28日は、良くないことの重なる日でした。まず、エスピリッツサント島のルーガンビルにCA Australia、CA Canberra、CL2隻、CLAA1隻が艦砲射撃にやってきました。基地機能にかなりのダメージがあったのと二式大艇一機が破壊されました。また、たまたま停泊していたPB Myoken Maruが撃沈されてしまいました。ポートモレスビー失陥後は、このルーガンビルとその南のEffateを維持する意味がほとんど無くなったと感じています。まあ、ルーガンビルには大艇を配置して海上を哨戒させて、連合軍のオーストラリアへのコンボイの航路を少しでも南側にそらして遠回りさせる効果があるかなとは思います。でもEffateの兵力は敗戦までここに住み続けるだけになりそうなので、PBをつかったFasttransport TFで転進させつつあります。
陸戦フェーズでは、 19日から繰り返して攻撃されていたブナがついに陥落してしまいました。ポートモレスビーで敗北して撤退して来た歩兵連隊に、海軍の防備隊が防御の主力でしたから、米軍2個師団強の攻撃に9日間も耐えてくれたことには感状を出すべきところなんでしょうね。ブナの飛行場は規模6と大きいので、ここに連合軍機が大挙して進出して来ることが心配です。もしそうなったら、艦砲射撃に行くくらいしか手はない感じです。また、米軍師団もそれなりにdisabledのdeviceが増えたと思うのですが、このままニューギニアの文字通り道無きジャングルの中を北のラエに向けて行軍し始めるのかどうか？ここ数ターンは目が離せません。いずれにせよ、状況としては昭和17年6月というより、すでに昭和18年みたいな感じになっちゃったな。
