昨日のエントリーで触れたEscort TFを利用したQシップ作戦ですが、うまくいかないようです。港で新たなEscort TFを編成してパトロールを設定します。セーブしてロードするとそのTFはSurface Combat TFになっています。ゲームシステムとして、Escort TFには作戦行動をさせないようになっているんでしょうね。洋上にあるASW TFからEscort TFに変更したものは、セーブ・ロードしてもEscort TFのままでした。でも、いずれ港に補給に戻ればSurface Combat TFになってしまうでしょうし、システムが避けさせようとしているgameyな行為をあえてすべきではないだろうと判断しました。
8月12日の時点で、損傷艦の状態は落ち着いたと思っていたのですが、赤や黄色の数字がたくさん並んでいて、CVL翔鳳の火災が鎮火していないことを見落としていて、その後も火災はおさまるどころか勢いを増してきています。他の損傷の落ち着いた艦はトラックへと向かいましたが、浸水被害の大きなCA最上とともにCVL翔鳳は手近なラバウルに向かわざるを得なくなりました。

昭和17年8月14日のオペレーショナルリポートにはCVL翔鳳に関する被害の報告がなんと6つも載せられていて、1ターンで浸水被害が30から80へと急増してしまいました。なんとかラバウル港に辿り着き、このまま火災さえおさまればとりあえず沈没はせずに済みますが、沈没で飛行隊がdestroyedになることが心配なので、まず飛行隊を下船させます。消火活動は修理ではなくダメコンなので、関連するパラメータは乗組員のexpです。CVL翔鳳のexpは69/62なのですが、Sysダメージの方も74にまで上昇しているので、ラバウル港のNaval Supportの人たちと協力しても消火は難しいかも知れません。それにしても日本のダメコンのダメダメさがよくシミュレートされているゲームです、まったく。
ラバウルの周辺はポートモレスビー or ブナの連合軍機の哨戒圏内です。CVL翔鳳・CA最上のTFもみつかっていて、ラバウル入港前、ラバウルの東南のヘクスにいる時に16機のBeaufighter Icがやってきました。高度2000フィートと低かったためかレーダーによる探知は来襲の9分前で、ラバウルでCAPを指示してあった飛行隊のうち、そのとき空中にいた5機のゼロ戦(A6M2 Zero)と5機の屠龍(Ki-45 KAIa Nick)が対応できただけでした。それでも3機を撃墜し、投弾できたのは6機のみで、幸い命中弾はありませんでした。投弾のアニメにはしっかりCVL翔鳳・CA最上の両艦が登場していたので、この2隻がラバウルに到着したことは連合軍もお見通しのはず。きっと明日はB-17やB-24がPort Attackでやって来るでしょう。ラバウルにはしっかりCAPを上げておかないと。CA最上はラバウル港にdisbandしてpierside modeで修理を始めました。CVL翔鳳は炎上中なのでdisbanできません。Port Attackだと狙われるのはCA最上の方だけかな？
