A6M2がP-38G Lightningを7機撃墜

昭和18年3月13日、昨晩の夜間空襲はポートモレスビーのみでした。23機のB-25に13機のCAPが迎撃して滑走路や施設の被害は大したことがなかったのですが、地上で合計3機も破壊されてしまいました。部隊のmoraleが下がってしまうし、この地上での破壊が一番いやらしい。

AkyabとKalemyoからビルマ中部平原にむけての連合軍地上部隊の移動は続いています。Kalemyoからの一部隊はラングーン・ミートキーナ鉄道に到達しました。一足早く日本側部隊が移動したので、しばらくここで対峙することになります。合計3万人ほどですが、ジャングルヘクスだし一個師団いれば大丈夫ですよね。
Akabからの部隊はどこまで進むつもりか不明です。少しでも動きを遅くさせるために空襲してみました。 ジャングルヘクスにいるので、死傷者13名、戦闘員の一分隊がdisabledとNon Combatが4分隊disabledになっただけで、爆撃自体の効果はほとんどありませんでした。
ラングーンには昼間の空襲がありました。一昨日はB-17E Fortressだけで来襲してCAPがかなりうまく迎撃したので、今日は63機のB-17E Fortressに10機のP-38G Lightningが護衛についてきました。リプレイ中ではA6M2 Zeroに被害はなく、P-38G Lightningを1機撃墜しました。Trackerで確認すると、P-38G Lightningの今日の損失機数はA2Aで5機、Ops Lossで2機の合計7機になっていました。A6M2 Zeroは旧式化していてsweepや護衛につかうと被害ばかり多くなってしまう印象でしたが、CAPとして護衛戦闘機相手なら今でもかなりやれることが分かりました。護衛についた10機のうち本当に7機が損失になったのなら、かなり大きな被害です。A2A戦闘ではあきらかにsweep>CAP>護衛という関係があるので、明日以降はP-38G Lightningによるsweepをしかけてくるのではと思います。
