昼間のラングーン空襲

昭和18年3月11日、5日前に雷撃されたPB Kyo Maru #8が沈没しました。Zamboanga港にdisbandしてありましたが、沈没のお知らせ音は海を航海中に沈む時と同じものでした。マニュアル6.5 DAMAGE TO SHIPSには

Firesの数値は、その艦船で現在炎上中の火災の激しさを表している。0は火災がないということで、40以上の数値は非常に大きな火災を意味する。浸水被害がある艦船や炎上している艦船は、浸水・火災・爆発によってさらに被害がひどくなる可能性がある。艦船は毎ターン、Sysダメージの修理や排水や消火を試みる。港にいるとダメージをずっと軽減しやすくなる。被害をどの程度修復できるか、または被害がさらに悪化してしまう確率は、現在の被害の程度や船員のexp、そしてもしその艦船が港にいるならば港の規模に関連している。

とあります。雷撃された時に、このPB Kyo Maru #8の被害はSys 33とFire28で、船員のexpは45/45でした。同じターンに雷撃されて助かったAK Kimishima Maruの被害はSys 30とFire21で、船員のexpは25/18でした。被害の程度はほとんど一緒で、船員のexpはPB Kyo Maru #8の方がかなり上ですから、両方同じように消火に成功してもおかしくないのにと感じてしまいます。

恒例のラングーン空襲ですが、昨晩は二波で合計44機が来襲し、Airbase hits 5、Airbase supply hits 2、Runway hits 68の被害で、迎撃したKi-45 KAIa Nickが一機撃墜されました。Trackerによると連合軍の四発爆撃機は一機も落ちていないもよう。

そして、ラングーンには昼間にも空襲があり、四波合計63機のB-17F Fortressが来襲しました。CAPがいると思われる拠点に、戦闘機の援護なしで爆撃機だけで昼間に爆撃に来たことは記憶になく、このゲームで初めてのことかも知れません。B-17E Fortressが丈夫なことにかなり自信があるのでしょう。19機のA6M2 Zeroが迎撃して、空戦のリプレイではA6M2 Zeroにはdamegedもdestroyedもなく、B-17F Fortressは12機がdamagedになりました。TrackerによるとA6M2 ZeroはOps lossが1機、B-17F FortressはAir lossが1機と報告されています。撃墜には至らなくても、damagedになった機体は何日か修理が必要になるでしょう。それでも、この爆撃によりラングーン飛行場はAirbase hits 6、Runway hits 68の被害を受けました。engineerが400以上いても修理が追いつきません。
