昭和17年7月27日、ニューヘブリデス諸島のEfateにオーストラリア軍のKanga Force Bnによる空挺作戦がありました。日本側の守備隊は撤収したあとだったので、無血占領です。現在のEfateは港の規模1、飛行場の規模0です。Efateの北4ヘクスのルーガンビルには二式大艇がいて哨戒飛行をしています。連合軍がこれをうるさく思い、Efateの飛行場を拡張して叩きにくるつもりでしょうか？でも、ルーガンビルには戦闘機を配備していないので、ニューカレドニアのKoumacやヌーメアからでも爆撃が可能なんですけどね。
珊瑚海海戦で傷ついた連合軍空母がニューカレドニアのKoumacやヌーメアに停泊していないか、ルーガンビルから百式司偵で偵察してきましたが、発見できませんでした。いち早く逃走したようです。これを書きながら気付いたのですが、もしかするとKoumacの北隣りの根拠地やヌーメアの北隣の根拠地にdisbandしたなんてことがあるかな？いちおうそちらも偵察してみようかな。
雲南省の保山や昆明を爆撃するため、ビルマのラシオに一式戦と九七重爆を配備してあります。ラシオから昆明への爆撃を指示しようと一式戦の部隊のインフォメーションスクリーンを開いて、増槽がつかえなくなってきることに気付きました。増槽の使用条件を確認しようとしてマニュアルを調べてみましたが、みつかりません。でも確か根拠地のサプライ貯蔵量が、Supplies Requiredの2倍以上あればOKだったはずで、マップ上で根拠地に黄色の！(サプライ貯蔵量がSupplies Requiredの2倍未満)、赤い！(サプライ貯蔵量がSupplies Requiredの1倍未満)が表示されていなければ増槽をつかえていました。
今日のラシオに！は表示されていません。サプライ貯蔵量も8636トンとSupplies Required 4216トンの2倍以上ですから、増槽を使えないのは変ですよね。ただ、今日のラシオのサプライ貯蔵量はSupplies Requiredの2倍に4トンしか余裕がありません。もしかすると、増槽を使用して飛行するのに必要なサプライを差し引いても、その根拠地にSupplies Requiredの2倍以上のサプライが残らないと増槽はつかえない仕様なんでしょうか？こういあたりはフォーラムでも読んだ記憶がないので真相は謎です。
増槽が使えないと一式戦では昆明まで届きません。仕方がないので、今日は保山の爆撃に向かわせました。この時期のビルマのサプライの状況は厳しくて、Magweからインド内の飛行場への爆撃でも、増槽が使えない日は行き先がかなりかぎられてしまいます。
