昭和17年7月29日、スラバヤに向かっていたAO Tatekawa MaruがSS O21に雷撃され、魚雷が一本命中しました。AO Tatekawa Maruは大きな高速給油艦で、Mini KBに洋上給油した残りの2000トンあまりのfuelを搭載していました。搭載量が少ないし、大きな船だから大丈夫かなと思ったのですが、修理フェーズにFires out of control, AO Tatekawa Maru can not be savedと表示され、沈没してしまいました。高速給油艦の喪失はこのゲームではこれが初めてだったと思います。潜水艦には本当に手を焼いています。
