コンバットリポートの死傷者数とdevice被害数の乖離

昭和17年12月28日、マップ南西端のケープタウン・オーストラリア航路を東航していたTK British UnityをI-26が撃沈しました。I-26は12月22日のxAK City Exeterに続くお手柄です。でも、2隻も沈めたのにI-26のexpはまったく上がっていませんでした。

TK British UnityはShell Type A級(tonnage 9700, VP 28)のタンカーで、日本側だとType-1 TLやType-2 TLに相当する大物です。日本の潜水艦による連合軍商船の撃沈はこれで今月6隻目となりました。今日も反撃はなかったので、やはり護衛はついていないようです。他の商船6隻と一緒に船団を組んでいたと思われますが、こんな大きなタンカーを含んだ船団の護衛にあてる艦がないとは思えません。連合軍は来月あたりにどこかに大規模な上陸作戦を行う準備中で、護衛艦をそちらに集めているのでしょう、きっと。

西安北西の荒れ地ヘクス82, 39では砲撃を続けています。下記のコンバットリポートによると、死傷者は日本側109名、中国側54名と日本側が2倍になっています。しかしdeviceの被害を見ると、日本側はSquadsのdestroyedが1、disabledが4で、Non Combatのdisabledが2だったのに対し、中国側はSquadsのdestroyedが1、disabledが8で、Non Combatのdisabledが5と、日本側の2倍くらいの被害です。FoW onの時はコンバットリポートを無闇に信用してはいけないということがよく分かる結果でした。deviceの被害の多い方が劣勢なのだろうとは思うのですが、断言するには確たる証拠が欲しいところです。死傷者数とdeviceの被害数はどういう関係、計算式になっているんでしょうかね。
