お正月ですが、みなさまいかがお過ごしでしょう。アメリカではお正月を祝う習慣はないのでしょうが、元旦発のメールで送られてきたturn 381では、ビルマのShweboにきついお年玉をいただきました。リポートは爆撃だけ紹介してありますが、実際にはsweep3波の後にこの爆撃6波がやってきました。合計229機の爆撃機で以下の被害。滑走路はおそらく夜間に工兵が2だけ修繕したのでしょうが98ダメージ、整備施設は100ダメージとめちゃめちゃです。また、ふだんは一日に160くらいずつ減っていたShweboのサプライが、昨日から今日にかけては600弱減りました。Airbase supply hits 18の影響でしょう。このところ3日続けて、Shweboに8~10波の空襲がきていますが、なんでこんなにShweboを叩くのかな。連合軍の四発爆撃機の駐屯しているインパールやSilchar、拡張中のKalemyoにいちばん近いからかな。

今日は229機のうち四発爆撃機が114機でした。Attack Bombers Too Effective?というスレを読んでいると、昭和18年4月に連日80機もの四発爆撃機にある一つの目標の空襲を行わせるには他の戦域からも根こそぎ動員しないと無理だって、連合軍プレーヤーが書いています。まだ昭和17年12月ですから昭和18年4月より四発爆撃機の数は少ないはずなので、Navalsearch・ASWをさせていたB-17や、オーストラリアのTownsvilleからポートモレスビーを爆撃していたB-17をやはりこちらに移動させたのかも知れません。
それと、おおむね12~15分前にレーダーが編隊を探知していますが、6波のうち一波だけ目視で4分前の探知になってました。以前のデータとも併せると、レーダーが探知しないことがあるのは仕様だと考えるべきでしょうね。
うれしい方のお年玉としては、I-26が xAK City of Exeterを撃沈しました。この船はDominion L Cargo級(tonnage 6100, VP 12)で、日本の貨物船だとLima cargo級よりちょっと小さめくらいです。場所はマップの南西のはしっこで、ケープタウンからオーストラリアへの航路上と思われます。昭和17年12月10日にI-8がタンカーを2隻沈めた時にもそうだったのですが、今日も護衛の艦艇からの反撃がありませんでした。護衛を付けずに独航させているようで、連合軍は商船が有り余って来ているものと見えます。
そして、BB武蔵が就役しました。史実の武蔵は三菱長崎で建造されたと思うのですが、東京港にやってきました。武蔵は昭和17年12月1日就役が標準なので、21日遅れ。233x3x21でHIが合計で14679ポイント、だいたい大東亜共栄圏全体のHIの一日総生産量だけよぶんに消費されたことになります。でも、これ以上遅くならなくて良かったと前向きに受け止めることにしましょう。
